Tony Martin se adjudicó la contrareloj final y Fränk Schleck se lleva la general del Tour de Suiza
Frank Schleck (Saxo Bank) reclamó una dramática victoria global en el Tour de Suiza con una gran actuación en la contrarreloj final de 26.km en Liestal.
Schleck terminó 13 º en la crono, pero fue suficiente para que el corredor del Saxo Bank reclamara el malliot amarillo en deprimento de Robert Gesink (Rabobank), que no pudo aguantar la diferencia que tenía antes de la crono, hoy perdió 38 valiosos segundos.
La etapa fue ganada por Tony Martin (Team Columbia-HTC) que venció al campeón del mundo Fabian Cancellara (Saxo Bank) por 17 segundos.
